May 27, 2024An update from Aerosoft on the A330
Since we've last heard from Aerosoft the team has changed, with the team lead opting over to work at PMDG. Which is what part of this team's update is. Aerosoft while looking to make new and more ways to engage with the community has come out with a new community manager.
In the quick video, Rafi (The new community & content manager) presented himself and outlined what the team has in store with their new approach. Viewers can look forward to what happens behind the screens insights, an increase in video content, as well as direct interactions with the developers. They also plan to launch a Twitch channel to stream upcoming content live.
Maybe if we're lucky, we'll see some more content on the Airbus A330 that Aerosoft has been in development for - for quite some time now.
However let's go over what we saw in the video, we got some very short previews of the A330 in the simulator, and we can the windmilling effect on the turbine as it spins in the wind, along with 3 Engine types that the A330 can be configured with (CF6-80E1, PW4164/8m or the Trent 700).
We also saw a few liveries.
Not only that but we also get to see Frankfurt airport which they've been hard at work with.
In summary, hopefully - we can get some clear communication with Aerosoft and their projects, especially the A330 - as it feels like we've been mostly left in the dark - for long parts of time. At least in my personal opinion, I hope this is a step in the right direction for Aerosoft, but again all this is just my own personal opinion - I'd love to hear yours down below

Just a question are those of us that bought the twin otter getting any more updates for it in the marketplace.
Honestly not too sure – however marketplace update do usually take a bit longer than if you buy directly from Aerosoft.
