IniBuilds YBBN
iniBuilds YBBN takes full advantage of some of the new features inside of the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, including high-quality textures, modeling and so much more. One of the biggest features everyone is hyped for is the ability to walk around the airport and inside of it. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 came with a core feature of being able to walk around outside of the aircraft to do preflight items and more. iniBuilds has taken this to the next level adding the ability to walk around the inside of the airport. The team at iniBuilds has also made sure that it features true-to-life landside recreations, including vegetation, signage, parking barriers, and more - we saw a sneak peek of this in the teaser photo showing crazy high fuel prices. Although the prices aren't fully accurate their not far off!
Orbx YBBN
The Orbx cover of YBBN was great when it first came out 14 Years ago... but compared to the more recent release 3 years ago for MSFS 2020, it was fair to say that it almost looked like they had reused textures from the original airport.
The performance on the airfield is just horrible. For something that has quite low-quality textures and modeling, it really eats up the frame rate. It appears it was just poorly optimized. Adding to that, there weren't any ground-breaking new features added to the airport that the sim had to offer. We got the new runway that was added to Brisbane Airport; however, that was it.

iniBuilds, who you may be aware of made a lot of high-quality content that is featured in the standard simulator such as their A330, A320 V2, A321, A310, and A400. They've made a name for themself making high-quality airports as well just like YBBN. A lot of people are new just eagerly waiting for the release of their A350, which might be coming out before the end of the year. There was also the word they were working on an A380, although we have the free FlyByWire A380 - it'll be nice to see some health competition and the differences in products.
