MSFS PMDG 777 Freezing Issue
It's only been a day since the release of the PMDG 777 For Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and one large issue has arisen. The simulator freezes up and requires you to force-cash it. Now if you're wondering if it's just your sim, I'm here to ease your mind and tell you it's not - it's an issue that impacts almost everyone at the moment.
From a glance on the PMDG forums, it's clear to see this is being documented well by the PMDG team, there aren't any confirmed fixes yet unfortunately however. One user on the PMDG forums claimed it was a similar issue to the "WASM" issue, Mathijs from PMDG commented, "That is exactly the thing we are discussing with our friends at Asobo."
So the PMDG team is trying their best to fix this bug as quickly as the team can, however, at the moment there aren't any fixes for this bug. It can occur when entering information in the FMC, using the touch screen EFIS - or just randomly when doing nothing. There isn't a clear cause for this bug or a time frame for when it'll be fixed. Although I'm sure PMDG will be working hard and fast to get this fixed as soon as possible.
Anyone who is experiencing a similar issue is being asked to submit a ticket on the PMDG website and include as much information as possible
