What happened to Grand Theft Auto San Andress VR
For those who have been living under a rock in 2021 shortly after Facebook Oculus was rebranded to Meta, they announced that Grand Theft Auto San Andress was going to be coming into the Virtual Reality universe for Quest users - However, what has happened since then?
Well to make this post rather short, basically nothing. There is no more information on this project, my speculation this was going to be using the same company that ported GTA SA to mobile - However at the same time in the video the lady says "We've been working on this for years to bring this to quest" - Years later and we still have nothing
Some hope is still there though, some people are hanging onto the theory that no news also means it hasn't been canceled yet. However, 3 years later we've had no news, and no updates - I think it's a safe bet to say we won't be hearing any news on this. The team likely has this on the backburn to be eventually canceled or picked up at a much later date.
I guess so much for seeing our Buster Carl in Virtual Reality
