What’s New in Arma 4 - June 2024 Update
Alright, let me try and update you all on everything we know so far about Arma 4 - a lot of the following is going to be speculation and information I've gathered from Arma Reforger. However, let's get right into it.Â

Enfusion Engine
Let's talk about the importance of the Enfusion engine and Arma 4. For those who don't know what the Enfusion engine is - it's a game engine that Bohemia Interactive has created, currently Arma Reforger is running on it and Dayz is currently on a hybrid of the old engine and the new one.
Just by looking at Arma Reforger and its dense terrain from woodland to small towns, we can really get a good idea graphically what to expect. The Graphics that the Enfusion engine is pumping out is nothing short of amazing and stunning - looking back at the past Arma 3 we can see how dated the old engine looks compared to the brand new stunning Enfusion Engine. Why Is Enfusion Engine So Important For Arma 4

If you haven't seen the Arma 4 website https://Arma4.com Go check it out you can enter your email to stay updated with all the information related to Arma 4 as it comes out. Although we haven't heard much from the studio we can be assured they are hard at work on Arma 4. As you would have seen in my article "Arma Goes Sci-Fi"Â I found Bohemia Interactive's job listing page. There is a listing for a "Junior/Regular Art Researcher" to work on the platform "Arma 4" - so we can be rest assured the team is growing and working hard on Arma 4.

What Time Period Will Arma 4 Be Set In?
Arma 4 will likely be set in a similar time period to the current time - possibly 10 years in the future. While Bohmia Interactive is working on a Space game which you can read about Here. I don't think we'll see anything too futuristic or old-time period with the launch of Arma 4. Arma Reforger saw us travel back to 1989 just a few years after the Cold War - so it wouldn't make sense for Arma 4 to be set in a similar time period.
Is Bohemia Making Arma 4?
Yes, this has been confirmed by Bohemia Interactive themselves by posting a video titled "Road to Arma 4" obviously nodding to the community at them working on Arma 4.
Is Arma 3 Still Active in 2024?
Yes, While it has had a noticeable drop in players since Arma Reforger was released. The Arma 3 community is still thriving in 2024.
