Beyond ATC for those who don't know is an AI ATC program for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Beyond ATC will allow you to talk directly to Air Traffic Control adding a serious layer of immmersion. Beyond ATC For Microsoft Flight Simulator Review
In this update, Beyond ATC has started the replacement of all of their entire speech recognition backend service. Which is an ongoing effort to replace their current AI Model with a custom-trained AI Model that uses a massive dataset of 'pilot speak' - This is done to achieve even better speech recognition. Beyond ATC says we should notice this improvement immediately with it set to improve over the coming weeks and months, as they give the AI Model more data.

This is great news, as I think this is one of the areas Beyond ATC falls behind its competitors such as Sayintentions.ai - Their speech recognition can sometimes be a bit, but how do I say it - funny. BeyondATC will sometimes want you to repeat exactly every aspect of instruction, whereas in the real world - sometimes pilots will shorten their callsign. For example instead of saying "Qantas 1490 Heavy" pilots might read back "1490 Heavy" - if we do this with Beyond ATC, the Air Traffic Control will say "NO! Readback incorrect". I hope we can see improvement in the AI Model that Beyond ATC uses to allow things like this.
