Let's take a quick look into when Flight Simulator 20204 will be released - at least my best guess for when and why. First of all, we're being held back at the moment, due to the delays of the final update before Flight Simulator 2024 (SU15) Sim update 15 - we could be expecting a delay in the release of Flight Simulator 2024. So When Is Flight SImulator 2024 Releasing
It's a bit of a confusing and simple answer, so far we know it's releasing in 2024 - and that's it. However, we do have some good data to go off of. Firstly we know the current SIM update is the final one before the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (msfs24) releases. We're expecting a Sim update 15 (SU15) to be dropping anytime in the coming weeks now. We also know Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) (MSFS) was dropped on 18 August 2020. We saw the first trailer on Jun 10, 2019, at E3, then the pre-release trailer on July 13, 2020 - so just about 1 month from the trailer to getting the simulator Or 1 Year from the first trailer.

But when exactly?
Based on the data from above we can expect a release we can expect a new trailer to be dropping anytime as we're 11 months (Jun 12, 2023) from when we first saw Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. My best guess will be very shortly after SU15 we'll see the pre-release trailer for Flight Simulator 2024.
Delays
MSFS Sim Update 15 SU15 Delayed Again
Due to the delays from SU15, we can expect Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 to experience a small and short delay. This might not only be due to Sim update 15. Asobo and Microsoft and expressing they want everything to be perfect now, which means we could see a small or even large delay in the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
