Welcome to the Gold Coast, a tropical getaway in Australia. An airport we Aussies have been waiting for quite some time to be realized by Orbx. The first thing I noticed is the level of detail being much greater than some more recent products they've realized - especially the ground textures. The airport is complemented nicely by the photogrammetry surrounding area - making for an exceptionally nice approach over the city and onto the airport. The Airfield itself is fairly small mostly catering to domestic flights.
As you can the 4k textures are truly amazing at YBCG for MSFS.This airport features dynamic lighting that looks amazing at night, more so the taxi signs that will shine onto the ground. There are also some terminals with interior models you can explore, with static people waiting for flights. All the people and most vehicles are static and not animated.
Performance for an Orbx airport is surprisingly good - Orbx is known for having complex scenery that isn't very performance-friendly. However here you'll see a small impact on framerate but the FPS with traffic is honestly pretty decent. For $25 AUD, honestly, this is a great purchase and I'd highly recommend it.
