Who Is TFDI?
For those who have been living under a rock TFDI has been building and creating one of the highest study level MD-11 to exist, they had an interesting approach to creating this aircraft though, well releasing it at least. So they had packages you could buy to support them which gave you access earlier than the general public, similar to how games will do early access. While a very strange but effective way of developing an aircraft it also helped fund it along the way.
Feature Complete
But that's not what we're here to talk about, TFDI is now finally "feature complete" If you didn't know you can follow their development progress over on their website (Here), which gives you a somewhat live view of the status of the MD-11 as TFDI works on it. Now that TFDI MD-11 is Feature-complete, there is only one more step to go "Delivery" which means it'll be for sale to the general public. As of writing this, we're currently 50% of the way to delivery of this big bird, This long with FlyByWire A380 is one of the most anticipated addons coming to the platform - so a lot of seasoned simmers are very excited at this news, me included.

So when will it be ready?
Well, we're not totally sure however, what we do know is are half halfway there WOOOHOOO Living on an MD-11... Ha ha. No, but seriously we've got no idea, we just know it is halfway done in terms of being ready for its final phase of delivery. However, they did say to join their discord to which they'll be saying the release date over there.
I can't wait to try the MD-11 out, it's possibly one of the most iconic aircraft to ever fly the skies next to the DC-10
